Overview
The laboratory is interested in the regulation of gene expression in heart development and heart failure. We seek to apply our understanding of heart development towards regenerative approaches to congenital and acquired heart disease.

Current Projects:
1. Transcriptional regulation of heart development and heart function.
2. microRNA regulation of gene expression in the heart.
3. Epicardial contributions to the developing and adult heart
4. Modeling heart disease with iPS technology

Affiliations
The Pu laboratory is in the Department of Cardiology, Children's Hospital Boston. Dr. Pu is a member of the Children's Hospital Translational Investigator Service, the Harvard Stem Cell Institute and the Children's Stem Cell Program and affiliated faculty of the Department of Genetics, Harvard Medical School.

Positions
Positions available for highly motivated and focused individuals with expertise in molecular biology, stem cell biology, transcriptional regulation, biochemistry, or bioinformatics. Please contact the lab.

Lab Party
Lab Party 6/5/2010 is on for Larz Anderson Park as planned. It will likely rain around 4-5, then we will drive to Da-zhi's house for dinner. I will have maps of his location at the party.
